Fruitcake #1


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients together. Grease and flour pan. Pour all ingredients in.

Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until toothpick test is clean.

Cool 30 minutes. Remove from pan, cool 1 hour.

Wrap tight in wrap or foil and refrigerate.

    Margie reminded me that this is definitely not “her” recipe! Her SPECIAL recipe would also have to include the final finishing step of soaking it in brandy or whiskey right after it comes out of the oven. This way, as it cools, it will soak up the alcohol, and not burn if off, so that when you eat it, you will definitely be able to feel the effects of it!
